Hey All...

I have a VL Calais its cherry black... my question is

i have a Steering problem its very hard to turn corners with... the steering fluid is fine.... its hard to explain but its like its jamming up... its only just started to play up

any advice would be very appreciated....

I'm no technician but u may need to have a look at ur rack steering rack i mean.

Probably caused by the paint color - paint it blue - at'll fix it

Yeah i'd agree with every1 else and say its the steering rack...the fluid level may look right on the outside of clear white cylinder thing but inside if u poor steering fluid into it, it will just swallow it up. It'll cost about $400 to get fixed.

besideds you fine rack (jack the VL up and turn the steering left to right with the engine off to see if any aiir is present in the system turning the rack will purge any air in the system. drive car 4 five k,s and test again if more air is present test return pipe 4 leaks ie clamp return see if it leaks)while turning the steering.
