Default vn v8 diff into a vl question

would a vn v8 diff fit under my vl with 225/50/16 tyres with lowerd springs and shocks?
i have been told it fits though i only want to run these wheels and tyres.

Obviously it is wider than the VL diff but it will fit. As for the tyres rubbing? Don't know, try it and see. You may have to roll the guards.

the vn ss diff is an inch longer but its 28 spline the vl(unless its a vl turbo or v8 diff)is 25 so bigger axels is a good enough reson to swap i think

exactly and roll the guards regardless... bush mechanic style

have a mate sit in the car and u get a piece of pipe or round timber and slowly creep the car forward as u hold the timber and use it to roll the guards while putting pressure on the tyre and the guard do it slowly and several passes with added pressure each pass... works a treat... goodluck

you won't come close to fitting them wheels under the guards with a vn diff. had a mate try once. the only way it could be driven was to lift the ass end 2.5 inches.
