i know a lil bit about turbos and that to convert a NA rb30 you need few parts. just wondering whats the deal with the supercharger? what parts are required and the advantages and disadvantages of having one. sorry if this is a stupid thread but thanks for any info...
I'd like to know any info on this too as I love supercharged engines, but I'm not sure if you can fit any easily to an RB as opposed to a relatively easy turbo.

Turbo is more common for a reason, I like supercharges to, love that whine lol. But if i was to force feed a rb30 i'd turbo it
yer but are superchargers that much cheaper or is it just depending what your doing? and yer 87RB i heard most kits require to eather move or get rid of the air con and move the power steering some where els :S have seen on youtube a guy with it on oppsite side think its just hard to get the piping right or you could have it ontop but personally im not to keen on getting a hole in my bonnet or a scoop
Ahh yea, I love a good ol' whine from a charged engine!
Nath, where the hell would that pod filter stick out? Doesn't seem like there's that much room, unless it goes to where your stock air box sits? They look damn fine though lol
Edit: after looking at the pics again, it does look like there's room. My bad haha, too much time in my Ford's engine bay (I'll regret using the F word on here)

ewwww F word on here... hsahah
if it dont fit u can always use an adaptor to suit..
but looks like it would sit flush in the airbox provision
Why not do both?
But if sticking to just one - turbo is heaps easier, cheaper, and will generally make more power.
HAHAHA nice... but yes man go turbo.....
why bother charging an RB30 when the market for turbo equipment is in such great suply.
turbo will make more power and be easier and more reliable.
If you want to supercharge something then dont use an RB
