    Default Vl Fuel issues

hey guys having a issure with fueling my vl. its been starting really rough to the point where it wont idle and i thought id start with the fuel system as the tank has sat for 3years with very little fuel in it. ive removed the pressure line to the engine and cranked the engine and notice the fuel is kinda spitting and no giving a even flow. is this normal or could i have a fuel pump that is dying. and just wanted to check but with the pressure line does the feed into the the reg then reg to the upper section of the fuel rain and then the return line to the lower section of the fuel rail

fuel is kaput man. pump it out and get some fresh stuff. How full is it? could be "spitting" if its low. the fuel reg is on the return line. top line is feed and bottom is return. if this does not fix running problems. unplug your AFM if your car starts and idles the afm is failing, plug it in while idleing and it runs crap, that just confirmed it :P:P

your fuel should be shooting out of the fuel line right across the yard, if it's just spitting out there is a problem.
try as nath has said and also change your fuel filter and you may need to pull your sender unit out and make sure the filter bag is not all clogged up and flush your tank out.

fuel filter has been changed. but i think a fuel tank flush may be a good idea. and maybe replace the intank pump. and the external is getting replaced with a new bosch pump

cheers guys will let you know how i go
