    Default Replacing a Fuel Rail on VL rb30 N/A

    Hey guys, my vl berlina has a fuel issue and im to belive it's injectors 5 and 6...so im goin to replace the whole lot with a new rail
    My plan is to remove the top half of the inlet manifold, will i need any gaskets or goop when i put it back on????

    Yes u will. u will need the gasket for the Intake runners - Inlet plenum and is advised to use some sort of sealant. i use some red sealent which is like a jelly, sorry dont know name of it

    Check the 6 small black seals for the injectors as well. in the inlet as u slowly lift the rail+inj together

    while ur at it flush out the intake plenum with some fuel and clean the throttle body.. get it schmick :P

    dont forget all the vacuum hoses to be put back in the right places and make sure u bleed the air out of your cooling system once the plenum is back on as coolant flows through the throttlebody

    nope still runs like shit
    just did all the injectors and gave it a throttle body clean...and when i put it in anygear but park or nutral it dies out
    WTF!!!!

    sounds like a trans problem, have you checked your trans fluid?.............. correctly? e.g. at operating temp on a level surface.

    what was the original problem that led you to a fuel issue?
    Nobody wants to play with me
