Bonnet/hood is slightly ajar - how do I fix it?

Hi all

My trusty VL Commodore has a slight issue I'd like to fix - the bonnet/hood pops open just fine, however when closed it sitts slightly up, so that the bonnet panel sits up about 1cm above the front guards on both sides. I suspect it is an issue to do with the latch with the spring in the middle (or the steel pin that holds it) hoever I am very basic in my knowledge of this sort of stuff.

The bonnet is closed properly, ie it isn't just at the popped stage which is about 5cm higher) and it is a fairly recent thing

I have tried tightening the bonnet pin, however it wont budge - is there a good way to loosen it without making it too loose?

It isn't a major issue, but it would be good to fix her up!

All done - Vice grips turned that pin easily. Gave it 2 full turns and now as close to flush as it can be.

this pin also has a slot in it for a flat head screwdriver. to wind it in or out. to set ur height.

sometimes just looking at things like this, u can work it out generally..
