Hey guys,
gotta love the intermittent problems, their just never there when you try to get a second opinion!!
My car runs fine... actually pretty good but occasionally when coming up to a set of lights it will just die but not when stopped when decelating through the gears so from 3rd to 2nd i might end up clutching it
what do you think? i thought maybe it was sensor playing up
if i follow what your saying, mine does the same but only when cold. I was wondering if it had something to do with the alternator but your idea seems a bit better
you might not be too far off though, it was a major issue when i had a stuffed battery i had to keep te revs up high in fear of the engine dying and not enugh life in the batery to start it back up. However when i fitted a new battery the issue went to the back of my mind as it might only do it once say in half an hour and i have enough juice to start it back up.
but when i watch the battery charge it get close to stalling as the charge drops weak alternator probably would have a lot to do with it i guess
mine did the same when cold and its an auto. i put a chip in with remapped fuel and it stopped straight away. recently when it was starting to do it again i changed my fuel filter now it's A ok.
So when you stop.. The revs drop and it wants to die?
If so, AFM
