Default has anyone had this problem think its todo with the afm

so my car was running really rough. not the 1st time but this stopped after running it on premium. then the problem came back about 3 months down the track. so i unplugged the afm while the engine was running it turned straight off when i turned the car back on everything seemed to be 100% again. any info on this is this a sign that my afm is about to shit itself or just a loose connection??

if ur car stalls when afm is unplugged the afm is working properly.

if your car idles with the afm unplugged its failing..

give it a hit with some inox/rp7/wd40(the plug pins and socket)

check ur timing man should b 15degrees(factory) there are so many things that can make the rb30 run rough so start fault finding starting with the cheapest first

dont touch the adjustment screw.. that the fuel/air mixture.. leave it factory(Look in my sig on a how to test afm and set to factory specs) if somebody has played with it b4..

if its an intermittent problem it could b something else like the CAS as well

wont hurt to check ur timing anyways. but its not a timing problem u have
