Default Easiest way to get 5 speed gearbox in

I have changed a few boxes in VL's usually i tilt the engine back so i can fit the bellhousing, anyone know of any easier way? I have been told if i take everything off it i can flip it upside down and it will fit straight in, is this the easiest way?

yeah........ found my problem anyway, i just put a RB30 out of a skyline in my VL and the brackets that are on the bottom of the engine to bolt your bellhousing too are different and stopping me from tilting the engine. Thought it was the new engine mounts haha

Not really since you take the shifter out to remove the box.... it stopped raining yesterday and i put the box in, was a lot easier when i turned it upside down. gave me more room in the tranny tunnel.

I actually had a mate help me lift it but the guy that told me to turn it upside down does it by himself no worries.
