Interior light problem...

sup peepz... just got my p'z so ive been motivated to start fixing some minor problems with my VL. probably the most annoying is that my interior light works when i open doors. but not when i use the switch on the right hand side of the steering wheel. i really wanna fix this. what do u guys think is the problem?

with mine, if i put a globe in it works and goes off when u close the doors, but i cant leave the globe in there cos on a couple of occasions, when ive shut the doors the light has gone off, but when i come back to the car its on again. is there a way to check the circuit or a fuse or something?

Test all the switches with a test light.
Make sure your familular with how thw wiring works with the interior light.
And check your fuses, swithces and lights.

And on a final note, make sure u use a "fat globe" in the interior ligh coz they get hot.
