Removing the distributor bearing

Hi, i'm just having a bit of trouble removing the bearing from inside the distributor.
Does anyone know how this should be done, or the best way to go about it?

I am looking desperately for any information on how to remove the front bearing from the diffy. I know that you were wondering at one stage how the best way would be to remove this, and i was hoping you could share this information if possible. I have looked for ages on any thread regarding this, and cant find.

Just some background on my problem. I had no spark and couldn't start my VL. I suspected that it could be the crank angle sensor, so i bought a CAS KIT which also contains a new bearing. I have removed the old CAS from my VL, and wanted to take out the old bearing which seems like its had it, but it seems that it doesn't want to budge. Do you know if it can be removed without the need to take out the diffy? It seems like i need to tap out the bearing from behind but i do not have any access from behind. I am not sure if there is an easy way to remove this that you can share?
