    Default 304 walkinshaw engine

    i have what i was told a long time ago a 304 in my wb ute however it has twin throttle rocket cover wld anyone no how to distingish if this is a walkinshaw engine on the front of the heads i have 30k7 the number on the side of the heads is 92060019 engine number is v841135p as im trying to sell the ute a lot of questions around the motor having a twin throttle rocket cover cheers

    on the engine number it should have a two letter prefix before the number.

    walkinshaw block from memory was vp********

    it has the rocket cover on rhs for the twin throttles however the manifold was changed to holley set up

    Oh FFS!!! They are ROCKER covers. Rocket covers are what NASA have put on the remaining space shuttles now they have been retired. Internal combustion engines - even Walkinshaws do not have rockets and thus no need to cover them.

    well done guys ha ha im no car fanatic wasted a lot of dough though however if ive got a walkingshaw engine and im willing to be proven wrong is there any interest out there for a buyer as wasting in the back of the property in a hot wb ute with a broken axle getting trashed by fallen branches wb ute gal diped chassis statesman front 7 gran tray ford ninch twin 90 litre gas tanks walky engine due for rebuild ute needs luv again unregisted ah high risen with statesmen rims 5 gran spray job 2 years ago but wild pig has been rooting the front few scratches will clean up nice with a bit of elbow grease any interest on the whole thing cheers guys

    Pics would help a lot. Particularly of the engine number and any casting marks on the motor + some overall shots.
