i got a vl 5 speed thats had a turbo put on intercooler n i want to kno how much psi i could run now but i wanna spend about 4 or 5 grand on it wat do yous think i should get done and how much will it cost roughly

put lower compression pistons in, stronger conrods. get cold air intake and exhaust. get the head ported and polished, bigger valves. stronger valve train and better camshaft. Don't get the head shaved though. get bigger injectors and maybe fuel pump. get ported throttle body or even double throttle bodies. Is the rear disc brake? if not put them on. replace the rear end if it's stock so you have the stronger axles and different diff ratio. You could get a unichip too once all the works done but they are $1200 alone. you could probably get all the above done including unichip for the money you want to spend.

i would get a VT-onwards twin piston front brake conversion first, then look at going faster. bangers pretty much covered it, the RB bottom end is pretty strong, get some good rods, rings and pistons as he said. i wouldnt go too radical with the cam, get a biiger turbo, a nice smooth flowing exhaust manifold and a custom plenum with a decent throttle body up front.

thanx for all ur help. yes it has disc brakes on the back and slotted disc's on the front its got 2 1/2 inch sports zurst bigger fuel pump. oh and bextor its converted ay

I'd nearly even contemplate a rebuilt motor with all the good stuff. You've already got the brakes and the bolt ons.

Other then that, aftermarket computer, good tune, cooler, and lsd.
