Clutch for NA to Turbo convert

looking for some advise on what clutches are good for a na to turbo convert
using the mf5 (yeah i know its prob not gonna last)

i was looking at/thinking bout getting a 5 puk ceramic button na clutch
then found a Cushion Button clutch for the na ( still a full disc, has button pieces on it)

anyone used a cushion button?

will it hold the boost? (nothing major, intercooled, stock turbo ecu and injectors, after market turbo manifold and turbo - will only be running 10psi)

or should i just get the 5 puk ceramic button and be done with it?

the mf5 is weak man... get a Mx7... regardless of the clutch.
Depends how u drive it.

yeah i know its weak as, which is why im only gonna run 10psi thru it

not going to get a mx7 or a 33 gtst box, cos im not 100% sure what way im going to go with it
might end up with a powerglide behind it

just want something thats gonna hold boost so i can atleast drive the thing lol
think i might just get a heavy duty na clutch, that should hold it yeah?

might b ok for a little while but start slipping down the track, as u know they just arnt built for the extra power.

depends how u drive it i guess

i got a NA auto box that's getting tired now (slipping under boost low end of second) this is after 24 months and 10psi.

i got a built box ready to go in though :P

i think coz your running the 9/5 inch flywheel and clutch you could use a rb25det clutch so you can get somthing to hold some decent power

My vl was running a mf5 with a 5 puck excedy clutch for well over 1.5 years before it let go.only let go because clutch fork was bent there for i couldnt get enough clutch when changing gears and broke a couple if gears.i now have anither excelwnt mf5 in it.i have faith.....

yeah i got a heavy duty unit going in it tomorro

organic, didnt go ceramic button or cushion button
it will do to run to work in for now
as i havent fully made up my mind as to what im gonna do with it yet
