    Just wondering if I could whack some 20's on my vl?

    yeah you can, but you would be best to keep it to an 8in wide rim with 225/30/20 tyres as a maximum, also make sure its the right offset and roll your guards otherwise you will have scrubbing issues, both on the guards and the strut

    wide tyres may be OK for appearance but make the VL dangerous when cornering, the tyres will grip the road well but will eventually let go without warning, the car will slide and you wont have anough experience to catch it
    wide tyres need enough weight on them to grip the road properly

    i previously had 16' stockies of a VE on my VL,
    But for some reason they scrubbed on the front spring?
    to the point of when i turned my wheel, the 'spring holder' did too?
