Turbo VL Oil Catcher - Need Help

I have a Turbo VL 1986 with an RB30. I have an oil catcher installed and i am getting a lot of fuems coming from it.
Does anyone know, if i detach the catch can and block off the line. will this cause any problems in my performance of the motor?

do you mean a catch can ???

if so there only really needed for something modified or if your motor is using alot of oil

Yeah i mean Catch can.

so the line that is going from the rocker cover to the catch can. can i block that off???

not advised man as the motor has to breathe and rid the blowby gasses from the crankcase

alot of fumes means rebuild time soon in the near future

do you need a catch can with a vlt running 10psi-12psi ?
