Default removing VL 6cyl auto trans sump

how difficult is it to remove the auto trans sump on the VL 6?
the rear 2 bolts seem covered by the rear crossmember that holds the rear engine mount, surely this doesnt have to come off also?

i know on the V8 sump just drops out. but if you reckon you cant do it them just drop the x-member. shouldnt be too much hasstle. give it a good clean and check it while its out. shit builds up on those things.

we had this problem with a vs engine sump.... small hands, 1/4 small ratchet, a whole pile of swearing and a small uni-joint got to the two bolts that the crossmember ran under though.
