    Can anybody explain why waterCoolant is running across no'1 and strait out the exhaust port. Just finished fitting reco head back up, new gasket the lot.

    i can only picture a hole or bad fitting of the new head gasket, allowing water through to the cylender. aside from that i cant see why that would happen....

    Thanks for your interest,just had the head surfaced and a bit of weld, put on new gasket the hole deal and far dinkem can't fill the radiator,dropped the pipes and full on out no 1 exhaust. am i going mad.

    thats pretty shitty, i cant help much more than that.... look like no one else knows either. is there an option of seeing the place the did your head and asking them?

    Yer put it on Sat, take it off Sun,Just dropped it back at the head joint, tested it and found it down in Vacuem. Must have only tested the chambers he worked on. I am pissed off but happy it was the head. Thanks vlv8vic

    Thanks for your wisdom vlv8vic,
    Dropped the head back,apparently he only vacuemed tested the ports he worked on and no'1 had no pressure at all, stuck a screw driver strait through jacket into port.So another head from wreckers and he is going to do this one up. Totally guides and all.
    Could only happen to me.

    haha nah mate dont feel that way. as we say if its got tits or tyres itll cost you money. Cant live without either however.
    Make sure you hang around the site, youll learn alot here like i have.

    But if it has got tits you can do it over and over and enjoy it.
