Do you mean the head? $100 plus $48 to get it skimed. As the motor is just sort of cruising with no real excelleration its like a miss but is not as clear as a miss. Would the AFM cause that because one night i left the ignition one and next morning it was to hot to touch.

umm so its a bit rough? did u say ur acceleration is not good either? could be the afm needs adjusting? your timing? or maybe your firing order..? have the spark plugs been changed at all?

Sorry markiuliano that was directed at another thread. All up it cost me $430 with gaskets and 1 injector and i did the work myself. the excelleration is great and it idles good to, it it just when the car gets up to speed and is more or less idling at speed that this flutter comes in, I think I will look at vaceum and AFM. I put the meter on yesterday and it went off the screen. But i have to find out if you test it with ignition on or off. Appreciate your tips.

I have noticed it does run better for having more petrol in the tank and i have just changed the filter. I think it might have a dodgy lead.
    Thanks for your help

I have found the problem, ladies and gents, when i put the plastic piping from the AFM to the trottle body I only tightened up the flexi end and the clamp at the the inlet was loose. Problem fixed. No more Flutter. Thanks for your thoughts.
