Water Pump

hey guys my water pump packed in yesterday morning so i thought cool il go get the part adn fit with the help of mums bf.Yeh that was a bad idea as mums bf has a good knowledge of cars and has fitted a few water pumps we thought we would have no probs.Then we realised how stupidly set up the RB30 motor is and how much u have to remove in order to take it off.We where just intrested to see if anyone else has had problems with this.

P.S Car is now on a trailer ready to go to Holden on tuesday lol.We where not sucesful at the removing and replacing the pump so car is now undrivable with the cooling system in the boot.

man i just put my new motor in and that is a big job to replace that water pump u gotta take all the belts, fan, and shroud of u can do it but its not fun i can tell u that from expearence by doin acomplete motor swap

yeh man im just lucky my mums bf's best mate is the service manager at Holden so it's goin there get that done along with new injectors and a service as a xmas present from my mum lol

get the timing belt done while its there. it's got to be taken off anyway.
