    Default keep the coil dry

the ignition coil on the 6 is close to the radiator filler cap and will probably get wet when flushing the cooling system, remember to dry it carefully as it doesnt like being left wet, mine ran OK for 10 minutes then shut down until I dried the coil

is this a reply to something or just something you learned and shared? goes without saying for the rest of the electrical system.

water and electrics are not friends.

yeah but water between any points can cause havoc, particularly when its a pulsating type power.

its more likely you got water in the wiring to your crank angle sensor inside the dizzy housing. happened to me when degreasing the engine.
