:b:
first it should be up to the mech to fix for free (assuming it is something they left undone etc...) either way they should be able to troubleshoot for free.
if you cant get back there soon enough though check over it yourself and see what you can see... if something isnt put back properly youll spot it.
failing that start checking the usual suspects, water in electrics such as coil / dissy area, as well as the afm. it might have been bumped and it seems a ripe old age they are starting to fall to bits easy.
goodluck mate.
If you have cooked it when the pump went? keep your fingers crossed it is not the head. The mechanic would be a real dill not to pick it up, but just happened to me.
dude i started the car on sat morning and the water pump died car was on for less than a second and then wasnt turned back on.The car never heated up at all pump just died when the car started.Had been running at a good temp uptil then too.
might not have put the timing belt back in properly?!
He put new leads in it too so im thinking that he may of fecked up my firing oreder lol if he has ill go ghetto on that tit.Holdens finest lol![]()
check the firing order.. on the lid of the dizzy it has the numbers next to where the leads come out.. wen i changed my engine mine had the same problem.. put it in correct order n drove like a dream..
I wonder what those scales on the top right side of my posts do...
