    Question Removal of ignition cylinder

    hello, new to the site, and its great,,, have a question for you gurus,, HOW do you remove the ignition cyllinder from just behind the steering wheel. Mine is stuffed, and wont return back after starting the car, leaves the starter turning, its a real pain in the ,,,, HELP!

    hey mate welcome to just commodores. I have not done what you are asking but im pretty sure it has been discussed. I will try to find some links for you.

    ignition barrel removal

    max ellerys VL workshop manual has lots of photos and detail, much better than gregories, IMO

    go look on www.calaisturbo.com.au in the tech article section they have a guide with pics an everything used that guide to replace my barrel after thieves stole the car and screwed it... :b:

    yer now dat i know how 2 get my ignition barrel off i was wonderin do any of ya's know how 2 get to the ignition output wires???
