Exhaust opinions for vlfury

Hey guys, ive asked around to a few of my friends what some ppl have paid for exhaust and what types they got but a few told me to post in the VL section so VL ppl could give me a hand,
So here it is i wanna put a new exhaust system on my car but just wanted to get a few ideas of what sort goes well on a VL and some of the prices you guys paid

is it n/a or turbo im guessing its n/a... how big in diameter... i got myn for $100 off a wrecked vl... 2 1/2 with extractors & 3 inch tip... thought that was pretty good

yeah that was pretty good.
Mine was about $1100 (but its V8) stainless extracs 3 inch y piece to 2.5 through 'special' cat and decent muffler. Last foot or so is stainless for looks.

I got quoted for a redback catback 2&1/2 $330 and they were gonna let me hear a few different mufflers to get the right note. For a good set of extractors your gonna be lookin at $350-$450 brand new. I got mine off ebay for $100 they are almost new pacemakers with the special coatings and sh1t. I was rapt

i had a vl wagon na 6, and i payed $150 it had extractors, then striaght through to a 6" dump pipe tip, the thing flew, and sounded hot too, dont know how legal it was, no cats no mufflers, but never got hassled by cops, even went through rego no dramas.

I'm forking out 950 for my 3" turbo back system, hiflow and cat and tip.

I've got extractors if you want them 50 dollars + Post. I really need to get pictures up as everyone keeps asking me.

As for the rest, the cost of the muffler and the cat plus 100 bucks??

my mate at carline is doing a 2.5" cat back stainles steal normal bent (not mandrel) with 1 resonator for $250 and another $250 for the highflow cat (doing the cat when i do my headers

my mate got a full system just like the one im getting from u pull it.... he payed $16

i have 2.5" straight through, on a v8, sounds really nice, not as loud as i want it to be though, unless you put your foot down a bit, nearly always in my case hehe

My exhaust for my VK set me back $1600 all up
Pacemaker 1 3/4 primary headers into 2 1/4" collectors
Twin 2 1/4" pipes into 2 high flow cats joining into a 3" system
1 muffler and a large hotdog and a polished stainless tailpipe.
All mandrel bent and painted in heat proof paint.
The pipe work is all flanged so I and pull off sections to either paint or to work on the car.

Looks tops and sounds great.

theres a vy v8 ute out this way with twin cannons on his system. they are right at the back and look like rocket launchers. looks evil, i love it.

ooh shit that will sound nice, i have it and its a GREAT NOTE. you will get looks no doubt and also close ups with the men in blue. itll be worth it tho.
