Default plans for my VL, price check

hey i have an 87 VL exec, its got a new motor and a recon auto,
at the end of next year i plan to do the folowing with help from jazmac performance in Mt Barker

import an RB25det front cut (R32)
swap the RB30 for the RB25det
swap the auto gearbox for the manual from the frontcut

this i have been told isnt that dificult i.e no need for messing with mounts or brakets and due to the engin size it will be legal, they do them a fair bit and it will be simply an engin number change. (if i need correcting please feel free to step in at any time)
they will put it in and set it up all together wring all sorted and checked to be working, this is engin and gearbox (vl diff will remain)
this so far i have been quoted as $4500

does this sound right so far?
then all i need is a pedal box for the conversion and will get V8 breaks or maby VT breaks or something, biggest i can get probly cos i dont wanna be able to go fast without being able to stop

will probly sell the good RB30 and the recon auto box (how much will i get for them do u recon?) or are they worth more to just keep them for i dunno spares or something?

what other problems will i be comming across?? what other stuff do i need to do?

will be leaving the exterior fairly stock. im going for a sleeper
biggest thing for that might be a tiger micre and silver spray but thats if i can be bothered, probly not i might spend the money on big swaybars, shoks springs tires then maby intercooler biger tubro yadayada, then i will have a feirly good bass to get decent power from
not necaseraly BIG power but more like fast responce and quick spooling, TT maby but yeah from what ive been quoted does it sound right??

    thanx for any help guys

front cut should have the pedal box... are they much different? either way youll get one easy.
BRAKES from a V8 will do teh job nicely, but while you're going to the effort VTs are just as easy, and newer if youre using 2nd hand bits.

by bass are you babbling about subwoofers? i got a bit confused in that last bit....

lol no a good base is what i ment to say. like a good solid car to mod

and it wont be till end of next year. maby a bit earlier depends sory dandoi but how much are they worth? i realy just dont know

oh and i think the pedal box from the skyline is different?? so i need a vl one, but yeah shouldt be to hard, same for the breaks, i get the breaks but i would need to make new mounts and cant be ****ed so i will sell or let them keep the stuff i dont use to lower the costs then use the cash to get the needed parts

Just VLT/V8 brakes would be good. But I think its 450 or something for the VT Twin piston front setup - everything you need, except you'd probably want to track down a 1" master cylinder. 50-100 dollars I guess.

For the rb25det complete with gearbox. Sounds pretty good, especially if thats fitted? Sounds extremely good.

As for the prices on the existing rb30e and recond auto, theres a guy on ct having trouble selling his reconditioned auto box for 150 or something and he's spend 1000 on it I think. I only want 50 or so for mine and I'm struggling to get that even.

The engine, anywhere between 2-400.. Depends on how leniant you are, its condition and who wants to buy it.

yeah well thats why i asked for a price check cos its obviously been asked here somewhere just couldnt find it
im doing it through the owner of carline muflers in mt barker who works with the business next to them *(Jazmac performance) together they do allot of import tuning, their allot of imports going through their all the time, and i think the guys AE86 turenno is some kind of record holder,
anyway this is their off the shelf price so i guess anyone can get this if they want, just ring them, but um, just drop my name

    yeah
the skyline one wont fit apparently

plus how many kw does an RB25DET put out and how much will i loose through to the wheels?
in other words how much power will i be looking at on reg boost ie 7-10psi

and also i will be unsing the diff thats thier now. its in good condition but how strong are they? will it be a good iodeah to get one from a vlt or v8? are they much stronger or should i just go for an LSD or something?
    pricing?
