    Default windscreen washers

    this may sound like a stupid question, but i cant get my little windscreen washers off the car. i no they have the little clippy thing holding them in but i still cant get em out.

    any ideas for me...

    they will more than likely break getting out. do you need to get them out? if you want flash new ones fair enough but if they are just blocked try sticking a sewing needle down the eye of them to clear the blockage. if you are pulling them out have a look in the engine bay under the shelf they are seated in and make sure they are clip secured and don't have a nut holding them in. some replacement ones use a thread and nut and yours might not be original. just a thought. if they are clips they are probably hard and brittle, use pliers to squeeze them in and push up.

    hey nahh im getting then out cos they dont work so ive got new oned to put on doesnt matter if they break and i had a feel and there the clip ons so what ya recon they will just snap out or some thing cos i nearly got em out but the wont budge.

    they should have little locking tabs on each side. if you can squeeze them in with pliers and push up they should come out.

    fury i remember taking mine out as well and it certainly isnt as simple as it looks. unfortunately i cant remember what the answer was, but i think i just grunted and groaned til they came out. mine didnt break either.

    you could always just grab some pliers and snap them off from hte bottom, then the top will just fall off.
