cant see the instruments sometimes

the instrument panel is in deep shade on my berlina and difficult to see on sunny days, its almost impossible to see when wearing sunglasses, especially the all important engine temperature gauge cant be easily read

does anyone else have this problem, has anyone tried to get more daylight there, it would help if the instrument lights could be on without the parking lights I expect

i have a similar issue when i have sunnies on, i find it hard to see the blinkers. or if i have the lights on say mid evening as its getting on dark i cant see if i have high beams on or not. ive sorta gotten used to it.;..
