VLs had additional plates and stuff in the door i thought so maybe that (and maybe other reasons) is why they dont fit properly.

Heaps of people have solex on their VLs so there must be something that fits properly.

yeah series 2 had anti-theft plates & thats not reason why... I didnt buy "solex" locks & figured maybe thats why? its almost as if you need two exact same locks on the vl's not two reversed locks. Does that make sense? IE one goes one way & one the other, I could get both locks to work drivers side but neither to work on passenger side?

Solex locks are good! I have them on my VL and keep the thieves away! But one of my keys got stuck in the boot lock and could not get it out! I tried twisting/turning/pulling but still couldn't get the damn key out. It's been sawn off and the key is in there for good! I can only open the boot via the boot release now.

Only prob I have with K is cus its a Calais boot garnish gets in the way of lock? I dont want to lose garnish or risk damaging it. any other Ideas?

aww,,,do u have probs with that at all, my boot release don't always work cuz it don't close properly(asuming) need to open it with key and close it properly for it to work and still doesn't always work...
Don't fit,,, i had to make mine fit on the driverside, i got it up the right way, haven't attempted the others yet; too slack, had to do the drivers cuz you had to work the lock to open the car and it was giving me the shits...as for buying them just ask the bloke at the counter to get solex locks for a VL.
