    Default fumes

    this is minor but i was just wondering if fumes ie paint and silicon have any adverse (big words ) effects on the car. when its running of course.

    it could only if u had fumes runing into the intake but thats very unlikely. it could b a plus lol if u had areostart fumes in ur intake that could b fun lol, now for my real answer

    lol. i forgot to say that it is in the air intake. im gonna paint the pipe and the hole where the silicon is with black paint. thats for my CAI. if i dont drive it till tomorrow will that be ok

    take the whole plumbing off and paint them of the car, thats wat i did and do it in the morning so that u would be able to drive in the aftrenoon

    its quite hard to take it off as its all siliconed it. ill just take the tube that connects the box to the TB and tape it up. ill paint it this arvo. be good for tomorrow. if its not too cold. thanks

    i think were thinking about different holes. i siliconed up the pipe for the cai to the metal and to the air box. so i doesnt come out. the tiny little hole in the bottom of the air box is still there

    wont hurt, if you are painting something that should be plastic primered make sure you do that. Otherwise you risk it flaking and going through the donk.

    as long as the paints dry shouldnt be a prob, the fumes are most likely flammable an will be gone real quick once you fire her up as long as they not seepin into the cab you should be right...
