    Default Infamous Boot Rust

    Hey,
I can see daylight once the carpet is lifted through the floor of my boot in my 87' VL. What should be done about this? The whole thing is gone so dont say just fix the hole...
    Thanks guys

Basically that's what I ended up doing to my old VC...
I made a template out of cardboard & used Gal sheet
steel approx 1.2mm thick. I didn't cut the old floor out
I sikiflexed (Glued) the new panel over the top..
Painted it black & didn't have any problems with rego etc..

A big job to start cutting old steel out..

    Good Luck
