sadly, there a dime a dozen now. and its so hard to tell fakes from originals. i just bought 17s for 500, so not really worth paying that for 16s.

IMO they are not the most handsome wheels either, and I believe if they are under 17 inches they are not mags just wheels LOL

i have 16s, and youre right they arent mags! they are alloy! (ba-boom).
i consider them just as worthy as any other mags. they look great and living here are about the best option. mind you the back of my car isnt lower than the front so it some people wouldnt consider it a 'real vl'

True that out in the sticks the roads are not good, But in the burbs the roads are smooth and slick and we need bigger rims to keep up with the jones' who all have 17's or bigger. but again thats my opinion.

ahh well must be more funding in your 'burbs. i live in the city, shit shit shit roads here. there are plenty of over 17s here (i like my girls the way you like your wheels lol) and yeah i do like them alot, just always stuck with the ones i had.
mind you most of the 'kids' here have stockies on the back cos they cant afford teh tyres to replace the ones they felt the need to rip. tossers. i swear some just put stockies on the back to make it look like they do skids! one bloke i know had them for nearly 2 years, the funniest part was his 15 inch 'mags' were the same sized tyre as the stockies he used on the back!!!

Classic man haha where 'bouts are you vlv8vic? I'm in epping the tosser capital, I had wankers in the street outside my house doing donuts and fishies coz I left my car parked outside LOL like they were trying to impress me or something then 5 mins later they came back for more was tempted to "dob in a hoon" especially the wanker in the EL 5 litre.

i dont mind people doing up whatever they like, ist just one of my pet hates seeing stockies on the back of commodores, with the arse lower than the front and some little wanker sitting in the backseat pretending he knows how to drive!
im in warrnambool, bout 250k's west of melb on the coast. ive had similar things with kids pulling up beside me and making a point of me hearing their showoff valve sneeze, only to be bitterly disapointed when i pretend they arent even there and granny drive off the line while they blow themselves cos they ''jus flogged a 5ltr boyz''

...ohhh i could go on all day!!!! dont be one of those when you get your full ticket stewie!

They also use these wheels (or some very similar) on the VR hsv slr5000, I have seen quite a few vr's with these wheels too.

Walkinshaw wheels arent too bad but I agree they arent the most best looking wheel to ever come out of the HSV factory.

Sorry if it was a bit hard for you, they dont use magnesium in wheels anymore. They use a special alloy. ba-boom, thats a common finisher for a joke, when someone does something funny, or states the obvious. Maybe youre too young to get it. anyway youre up to date now!!!

yes, as for the wheels, how can you tell difference between a good fake, and the real thing?
