Default Help with VL Boot Release.

Just wanting to know if anyone can help me get a boot open on a VL that has had the key lock removed from the boot lid by the previous owner.
The button in the glove box does not work and when the boot lock was removed the hole was filled and smoothed over.
It has got me completely stumped so any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

take the back seats out and reach though and pull the cable/rod that the seloid is connectd 2, this should pop it,

i was thinking of doing this 2 my car (bog the holes) but i thought bout it and wasnt sure if i could trust the release seloid. this was my back up plan if it got stuck

try pushing the button and get someone to push on the boot around where the key hole was thats what i would do when my boot stuck on my old car but the lock was still there but give it a go as it could work.

yeah mines seems to have buggered itslef somewhere between the switch and the boot, tried this that and everything else to open it. key will do for now, no biggie, kinda useful anyway if someone breaks in, its haredr to open the boot and steal stereo gear
