Drivers side window problem

The divers side window (manual, not electric) unwinds when downward pressure is placed on the glass. Took off the door trim but nothing obviously wrong, any ideas?

the scissor lift part that extends when you crank the handle may have slipped off, not sure what they look like inside cos ive got electric ones which arent without thier fair share of problems but ive also got a barina that has manual windows and the same thing happened to that and thas what it was

prob something to do with the cogs; or the scissor lift (mine slipped), just feel around and try to observe the difference when pressure is applied and not applied...ive had my window wind up sideways, starting winding it down and it fell into my door

Jules, how did you go getting the window back onto the guides - Mine fell off the other day and I can't get it back on.

I can get the white guides into the rails. But when I do that they're not in the guides at the front and the rear. And when I get them in the front/rear guides I can only get one of the white guides into the rail.

Whats the trick?
