sticky accel

hey guys, just wondering if u would know why my 1987 sl vl commy's accelerator fells responseless and sticky, what can i do to change this??

a can of WD40 and spray the accelerator cable in the engine bay, or check the tenshion on the cable tighten or loosen it up

get a new cable... could be the spring on the motor side

nothing worse then planting ur foot down only to find its stuck wide open! lol

sounds like you either just need to clean a bit of gunk out from behine the pedal or where it comwes otu in the bay or do the whole cable again!

ahhhh ok, thanks fellas.... the tension is fine on the cable, just sticky still. ill give that wd40 a burl cheers
