White Lights!!!!
hey all, as i was cruising home from TAFE in my VL, i saw a sweet VL berlina pull out behind me. as it drove the oppisite way it was going i noticed it had WHITE TAIL LIGHTS!!!!! Not those clear ones, they were WHITE!!!! now does any body here know what im talking about???if you do, would you know were to get sum??i have checked ebay, and havent seen any.

white as in white white, or white as in normal taillights but still look white (the hole thing), they could be custom, which would probably be illegal but it sounds like it might have director lights, which i believe are like the calais taillights but the whole light is done not just the top.
like the plastic covering thing, its like a semi transperparent white, the same colour as white paper. it looks sweet.

You can get clear taillights but they look shocking, search ebay.

i thought tail lights had to be red? legal requirement? Dont they? could be wrong but thats what i thought.Might cause insurance issues.

Yeah they have to emit a red light. But the lens/cover can be whatever colour as long as what comes out of it is red and bright enough. As far as I can tell anyway.
You can get clear covers and they use red bulbs i think.

no. as long as they put off the right colour when lit. thats why they have coloured globes. you can buy orange globes but i think for red you need to buy lens tint and paint the globes with it.Originally Posted by RankONE

yeh 231kw thats a fair Hit, sitting around the Gen3 power figures, which means the VL would snap itGotta love the older girls Power to weight ratio
Never the less its an interesting Model. Basically a Calais/Aero with sum extra exterior body parts and a big a$$ engine
