there urathatind in. theres a sertan air powerd tool designd for the job, which involves cutting from the inside of the car, once you cut all the urathin off it should simply lift out

I would be getting a quote from a car windscreen place, the rust is common, it seems the area was left as bare metal by holdens, if the rust is bad, new metal may need to be welded in

Basically just cut it and then push it out from the inside. I've heard of people easing the pressure on slowly with their feet and working their way around.

But The wire and cutting seems like a good way.

Hint: Most trademans drink, offer a windscreen bloke a few drinks to do it for you.
Hint:A sixpak just wont do it.
