Computer lights

Hey guys i was driving around tonight had the cover off the computer and when i would take my foot off the accelerator i could see the lights flashing then when i put my foot down they would go away after a while but they did come on at random times is this normal ??

never tried that, I would say that would be normal. But do a diagonstic on it & see if there is any faults? if not then definetly normal hey?

Yes this is normal, it's the ECU doing it's adjustments..

It is the ECU doing its checks like when you accelerate it would cancel the idle sensor circuit, when you reach a certain speed it will cancel the speed sensor circuit ETC. The codes will flash in order until they are systematically cancelled by driving the car etc. There was a thread somewhere on here with all the codes and what they mean.
