    Default strange...

    Hi all,

    my vl recently had the distributor and coil replaced and ever since then it has been continuing to run for about 2-3 seconds after i turn the ignition off... i would take it back to the guy but he's on the other side of town so just wondering if there's an easy fix...

    Its called "pre ignition" and has something to do with the timing. Not too sure about it either tho sorry.

    check the timing. it might be too advanced.
