Angry problem, im lost, plzz help

hey guys
i got a 88vl exec, auto. in the last couple of weeks i have noticed a problem when driving that almost feels like the car jumps out of gear and u jerk forwards before it kicks bak in, it happens more often when the engine is cold n just started. i thought it would have been the auto just needing a recondition but today as i was leaving work ( in 28 degree heat) it did it to the put where it stalled after a few bunny hops just after i had left the car park. it then wouldnt turn over for 2 or so mintues till i managed to get it goin again n make it into a side street. i let it idle in drive n again it did it taking another 2 mins b4 it would start agin. then i left it in park n it happened again which now makes me think it is the engine. it almost feels like a misfire when it starts to happen as it jumps around for 5 secs or so b4 it stalls. but its not a constant miss which maybe could be electrical???? but then again after i let it sit there idling after 10 minutes(and another 2 or 3 stalls) it sounded fine n made it the 15 minute drive home with no dramas at all. im lost plzz help
thanks

sounds like the timing is all wrong. Does it try to hop forward at the lights when you have your foot on the brake?
A service and tune should sort out this problem.

mine did the same sort of thing and turned out to be the fuel filter. then a couple of months later the CAS died. could be either in your case.

mine has done the same thing. Ended up replacing the CAS and fuel filter. Most probably your CAS though.
