    Default Electric Mirrors

How do you go about removing electric mirrors out of a wreck and installing them into your own, and what about they're worth, from a wreckers, normally good price but i enquired bout the berlina dash for a mate and he wants 165 for it so i kinda just walked away from that.

not to hard to install the mirrors.....the set will consist of the mirrors...wireing....risistor thingy...and a switch that goes on the lower right side of ya dash........not sure on the price but a wreckers will be fairly expensive......to take em off.i think 3 screws hold each mirror or then u jus need to follow the wires and then pop ya switch out

somewhere in the loom will be a big plug for the electric mirrors loom to plug into getting the wiring from the mirrors to the car is a pain cause stocko l's don't have gromets in the doors for wiring so apart from that its all systems go

yep ive got that prob no gromit, whats the best way of soloving this, get a newer models gromit like VS onwards or some dodgy unerversal 1, this is the only thing stoping me from puting central locking in...
and do the door have to come off to drill the holes for the gromits, coz i couldnt figger out why autobahn and strafuild was trying to charge me 50+bucks a door for insterlation just for the locking

I'll take some photo's when I get my stuff moved from my old house to my new house.

I've got it all out sitting there so I can take some photo's of the wires and stuff.
