ah sly bugger u are, but correct,

calais CAME out with a LSD, the v8 models them im pritty sure had 1 and the turbos had a LSD

my calais doesnt have and lsd and my brothers v8 doesnt have an lsd, they might have been options but im sure all vl turbos came out with them

all turbo diffs are LSD im pretty sure

I think only the VL turbo got it as standard and that is the 4 pinion 28 spline. All police cars came standard with lsd, rest of the range optional. Its quite possible that many have been swapped to single spinners over the years due the cost and scarcity of the lsd's

ok sweet coz i'm looking for an lsd from a commy up till VL coz i heard it will fit my gemini pretty easy just needs shortening etc also i have a 1992 or 91 calais which i've stole the v6 outta maybe i could use her diff ? looks rather massive tho, also need to do a manual conversion on the engine! what would i need to replace excluding anything with the gearbox e.g. u gotta replace the starter motor ? which is crazy i think !
