    hey just wondering what size you can stroke the vl v8 (304)to, 355 383?

    Yeah your on the money there, I think 383ci is the maximum limit $$$$$$

    yeah probably 383, excluding boreing it out, altho i think they can be bored out quite a bit. but like ucwepn said, it will cost alot of money

    I think its C.O.M.E that make an all alloy 5 litre block that is bored and stroked to 400ci but really for that kind of money you could get a perkins engine and have some change as well.

    Yeh 383 and C.O.M.E racing has got some killa cams 4 that and heaps 4 other cars too..

    Yep maxium of 383, before you get to close to the water jacket I think. But if you have a spare 25 - 27 grand you could purchase a complete c.o.m.e engine,like someone suggested. Advantages, its all alloy, (saves 40kg over original block) and can be punched out to 406.7 ci.

    Its called a terminator and can be purchased bare for $8800.

    what would you need the other $20,000 for, it cant cost that much to install one and get a engineers cert for it... or does it?

    Mate, thats just the engine, nothing to do with installing it or getting an engineers cert.

    You pay good money for good results. How does 685hp sound??
