If you have changed the battery then it can't be the battery, it must be the alternator. or you have a power leak somewhere.

yup you definaetly have a leak somewhere.. this can be a bugger to find too! See what you can do yourself, and if all else fails, speak with an auto electrician (with wallet in hand..)

Your alternator maybe cooking your batteries, like by belting in 16v+ and buckling the plates inside until it shorts them out-dead batteries..
I was confused now I'm just not so sure!!

    Default Battery Leak

Through my experiance, Check the earth point is 100% if there is any increase in resistance then the circuit will be degraded and chaging will drop.
The alternator powers the electrics while the car is running so it may seem fine but the excess that would normally go to charging the battery will be lost due to the regulator dropping back the voltage.
a good practice is to run a couple of other 6mm earth strap cables from the block to the chassis, this ensures proper earthing.

check out all the suggestions and see how you go.

if the battery is being overcharged, you will also need to be adding lots of distilled water

yeah, chances are that you just have a bad alternator, or regulator. chargign voltage is it too high. try this, check ther voltage after you turn the car off and then check it before the next time you drive and see if it has changed. if it has, then you hasve a power drain, check it 5 minutes after you turn the car off
