    Default Head lights rebuild

I have about 4 head lights and each have good and bad points - I see that the lens is clipped to the body of the light - Is it possible for me to fit another lens to the body of the light.
    Anyone done this??

My initial thinking was that the glass would either crack when I forced the clips off or crack when I tried to force the clips back on.

Any experience/help in this this would be great.

The glass is extremely thick It will not break when taking the headlights apart or rebuilding them. I had to do this as well with mine. ( I changed the lenses and added police type strobes inside them). once you get the lenses off you can give them a good wash and will make them nice and clean for better lighting. Also don't forget the gasket when assembling them.

    Bought em from ebay
shipped over from the UK, I don't think you can buy em here
, its a kit. $40 delivered, If I were you I'd buy 2 sets and put one set in each headlight to make them twice as bright.

Hard to see in the pic you can see the blue thing inside the drivers side headlight next to the grill.

I'll get a video tonight and post it up.

You can barely see them in the day but at night they are pretty bright. (with the headlights off)

Nah not really coz I don't turn them on much when driving, I turn them on when I'm sitting in the car at a carpark after dark, or in the maccas drive through at night. It has to be at night and its hard coz you can't see them with the headlights on. But in the late afternoon when its nearly dark they are great fun LOL If the rozzers caught me I'd be in the shit tho
