    Default Auto-Manual conversion.

Hi guys. I was reading a past thread on swapping boxes and i was wondering if it is worth doing.ie. more punchy, better economy, etc. I have not driven a vl manual so i can't do a comparison. The auto i have got is still doing a bloody good job but if it will make the big girl a bit more fun i might do the swap.

jeez yeah it's worth it. considering the auto chews about 30% of your engine power and a manual is about 15%.

I was only thinking that on the way home from work tonight. It started to rain and i thought ' hmmmm 5th to 3rd and a foot-full of right pedal would be a world of fun' (violent fist shake promptly followed) Dam you, real world!

depends.. if you just have a stocko then its worth doing the manual conversion cos they are alot of fun.... but if you have a turbo and have big plans for it, then you wouldnt go near a manual! but if its about fun then hey either way... i can still fry tyres in any gear on the highway.... so a manual doesnt mean ur gonna have more fun.
