    Default misfiring....

well my cars starting to misfire, its dose it when at crusing or a consitant pace, sometimes under acceliration
last weeknd i tuned the engine to factory specs, my afm to 382ohms timing is at 15degrees TDC, air filter is clean (k&n panel) and its starting to missfire today,
it has also start to have problems starting like turn the key and wont kick over then turn it off then back on and its all good (yes i do let the engine prime)

    what could it be??
would a fuel filter cause any of these symptoms as i think mines still factory (ill change that this weeknd)

I Think there shouldn't be movement in the dizzy at all. have you tried cleaning the injectors? if there's no fuel or little it won't fire that cylinder properly.

I can't see the thumbnail pic don't know why But a new fuel filter wouldn't go astray as they're only a couple of dollars. I'll have a look into at work tommorow and get back to you

The cable you have drawn around is the power transistor cable. Unplug it and check to see if the terminals are corroded. They might need cleaning so they contact properly.

Have you checked your leads? i had something similar happen a couple of weeks back. i thought it might be too low on fuel so i filled up and it was still doing it. pulled over and found one of my leads had been knocked off the dizzy.

Try to slide the rubber boot up the cable and check to see if the wires have broken where they go into the plug. This happened to a mates car once and he bought a new plug, soldered the wires to it and no more probs

well ive got it done (after 2 hours)
new fuel filter in, after getn bit high on the vapours i did it and it was the factory filter in the car, i turnd it backwards and pored some water though the opersote direction of flow and the water coming out the rear was almost jet black..
    not misfiring at all
    and runs much beta

as 4 that cable well i found out its acutally the other 1 (circled) that is doing it if palled or pushd it makes the car stall, proberly ill get a electrion to look at, proberly could do it my self but rather not risk it as its a vital part in teh ingition of the car
