its said that all additives in lubricants eventually wear out so what about changing the power steering fluid, is this ever done? does it bleed itself, they usually do
re changing the rear axle oil, does undoing a bottom housing bolt allow the oil to drain out? otherwise I have a syringe
not sure bout the pwr steering because if u think bout that then u should do the brakes 2 and if manual the hydrolic clutch,
with the rear axel i dont think undoing the bolt will work as there is a gasket in there or a sellear, so it wouldnt work best bet is a syringe or hand pump

Harry you are correct!!Originally Posted by harry3
Yes you should change both, PWR STEER every 24 mths and DIFF oil 24mths but that depends on how you drive.
If you tow heavy loads or thrash ur car then you need to change ur diff oil more frequently.
Also if ur using Synthetic lubricants you can go for longer service intervals..![]()

i cant believe people dont change the brake fluid!!!
Yeah you know there only brakes, people would rather brake fade/seized calipars or wheel cylinders/master cylinder..Originally Posted by vlv8vic
Brake fluid soaks up moisture which lowers the boiling point and causes rust, then the seals leak..
