    Cool 80 Litres??

Just a quick question to see if anyone has attempted to put a 80litre tank in their VL? If so, what did you do, how did you go about it, what kind of price were you looking at?

Also some good and bad points to a 80 litre tank apposed to a 60 litre tank might be worth adding in here....?

    Thanks alot guys...

    Charles.

Technically the only bad point I can think of is 20 litres more weight with a full tank. Good points are less refills and travelling further without pitstops. So is that a custom job or does someone make them ?

    Cool

nah the 60 litre is standard for a sedan. x-cop cars come with 80litre tanks. Also heard that some stationwagons come with 80 litre tanks. I did a little research, and found that i could get a 80litre with pump for $150 and 60litre wit pump for $100. So to answer your question, its not custom. just rip it out of another commodore.

Onlyafter talking to this guy im now debating on wether to go 4 a drop tank.
Does anyone have a VL with a drop tank??

Also, does anyoneknow anything about fuel cells? i can seem to find much information on these, and anyone that can give me a basic rundown i would be very apprechiative of.

    Thanks again guys.

    Charles.

For those who have read their car owners manual, you'll know the 80 litre tank is a factory option over the 63 litre.

But then, who reads anything these days.

83 litres is the sedan long range tank size according to the manual
