i was juz wonderin if ne1 knows some1 who has tried this conversion (2jz into vl calais). i was also wondering how hard this conversion would be i realise u'd need custom engine mounts and i'd be using a motec enigine management. i'd gettin larger brakes and stronger diff im juz wanna know if its been done b4.

decided to sell the vl gettin a vp and puttin a big block in instead sorry i juz couldnt be bother i checked all the measurements etc and fount it would be difficult so i decided not to go ahead .... vl is sold so dont ask if its still for sale

just put a RB26DETT Nissan GTR motor in there....same engine mounts, will bolt in with ease and you still get a twin turbo damn strong engine, bitta boost, aftermarket ecu, good full exhaust, big fuel pump, you'd be making btw 230-250kw (still standard motor & turbo's too) i'm pretty sure your gearbox will fit, if not R33 5-speed (damn tough gearbox) for around $1500.
