the cam belt timing may be out
ok my car started this morning and ran fine, but when i take off, there is no power or tourque at all, and it takes at least 10secs just to reach 60km/h. i was thinking that mayby my cam belt timing is out/???
and yes i have full, also would spark plugs affect torque?
These plugs are they the same ones you used before??Originally Posted by thestash_16

your dizzy is probably out of alignment. did you set the engine to TDC and line the dizzy up when re-installing?
ah, i fixed it, yea, i made sure the engine was tdc and aligned the cam gear etc, but it was the dizzy(out 7.5deg), so i grabbed the timing light and my dad helped fix it!!! RUNS SWEETER THAN EVER!!!!!!
