    Default engine no strart

    hey all just put a new cylinder head on my car and now it wont start. the engine cranks over and i ve checked all connections and fuses etc, but it still wont kick in...any ideas as to what the problem could be??? cheers

    Do you have spark and fuel??
    I was confused now I'm just not so sure!!

    Check you connections with the spark plugs if it has any.

    Check all earth wires near your engine, i installed headers once and found out the auto choke wire kept taping the engine block on start up causeing the engine not to fully kick over.

    Default cam belt timing

    ok my car started this morning and ran fine, but when i take off, there is no power or tourque at all, and it takes at least 10secs just to reach 60km/h. i was thinking that mayby my cam belt timing is out/???

    your dizzy is probably out of alignment. did you set the engine to TDC and line the dizzy up when re-installing?

    ah, i fixed it, yea, i made sure the engine was tdc and aligned the cam gear etc, but it was the dizzy(out 7.5deg), so i grabbed the timing light and my dad helped fix it!!! RUNS SWEETER THAN EVER!!!!!!
